What Can You Do?

Commemorate and celebrate Kari’s unique spirit.

  • Kari was a lot of things, but chief among them, she was a creator.

In that spirit, we invite you to create a small Thing in her memory, or in her spirit.

In other words, think of Kari, and try to capture that thought or feeling or memory in a little something you make. That Thing can be a watercolor, or a scribble, or a ball of scrunched up tape, or a haiku, or a story for only her to read, or a tiny flying machine, or a non-functional vessel, or a single silly sound. Just something you made while thinking of her.

Share it with Kari. Then, do whatever you want with it.

    Kari loved treasures.

  • Please use this link to upload any images or videos of Kari that you would like to share with her family and friends.

  • Find something new, someplace new, and go. Bring people with you. Bring clay, maybe. Bring wonder and openness to possibilities—the strange, the beautiful, and the ephemeral.

    React. Ask questions. Be present.

    Tell Kari about it.

    Repeat as needed.
